AI and Web3 travel platform Staynex has announced its agreement to acquire AI-native corporate travel software company Helix. According to ChainCatcher, the specific terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Following the acquisition, Helix founder Gus Fraser will join Staynex as the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO).
Helix's platform is designed around features such as conversational booking, real-time policy enforcement, expense visualization, and carbon emission reporting. This acquisition marks Staynex's expansion from consumer travel services into the corporate travel management sector, encompassing travel search, booking, compliance governance, and payment operations.
Initially, the integration will focus on Helix's conversational booking, policy engine, and sustainability reporting capabilities. Staynex plans to incorporate Helix's core intelligent technologies into its existing B2C AI travel assistant to enhance personalized itinerary planning and booking efficiency, while also advancing the company's internal business functions towards AI-native development.
