WalletConnect Expands to Canton Network, Enhancing Institutional Finance Access

WalletConnect has integrated with the Canton Network, expanding its ecosystem of 55.5 million users to include access to the institutional finance blockchain. According to NS3.AI, this integration connects over 700 wallets and 70,000 decentralized applications, focusing on stablecoin payments, tokenized real-world assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) use cases. Canton Network reportedly processes over $8 trillion in tokenized assets each month and settles more than $350 billion in U.S. Treasuries daily.
