Apple Faces Leadership Transition Amid Talent Retention Challenges

Apple's incoming CEO, John Ternus, is set to face a significant challenge as he takes the helm during a period of historic personnel changes. According to Odaily, the company has recently experienced a wave of departures affecting both executives and engineers, following years of relative stability. Ternus, who will succeed Tim Cook as CEO in September, is tasked with stabilizing the workforce. Late last year, the highly regarded head of Apple's chip business, Johny Srouji, informed Cook of his serious consideration to leave the company. Apple managed to retain Srouji by offering him a new compensation package and an expanded role as the company's first Chief Hardware Officer. Ternus will need to address succession planning and potential departures among other executives, including Mike Rockwell and several long-serving leaders nearing retirement.
